The G-series engines are independently developed based on the characteristics of the marine engine market, featuring modular upgrades and manufactured in compliance with SAIC MOTOR's production standards. This engine series has undergone significant enhancements in product quality, reliability, fuel efficiency, vibration/noise levels, and exterior design. Notably, the SC15G variant features an extended stroke length of 165 mm. With most components being interchangeable with original engine models, these engines are widely adaptable for various vessels including inland river transport ships, fishing boats, and engineering vessels, as well as marine generator sets rated between 150-300 kW.
